Thank You

I have decided to shut down my blog for good. The time seems right to move on. Thank you for reading, and I leave you with this quote from one of my faves:

"In the depths of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer." -Albert Camus

Oh, I almost forgot the most important part! (Said after smoting forehead)

Here's a few tips I've learned along the way:

-Don't forget to slow-down and enjoy life. It will pass you by if you let it. Being present in the moment is one of the most subversive things possible.

-Don't be afraid to buy fun shoes. Life is too short for boring shoes.

-Laugh.

-Excersize once and a while.

-Enjoy beauty for it's own sake. This means that you should try to go out for a hike in the woods if you're an urban dweller, or visit the big city if you're a farmer.

-Keep your guard up because there's lots of wolves dressed as sheep, but try not to build walls so thick that they block you from reaching out.

-Be kind do yourself, because after God, you're all you really have in this world.

-Try to help people out. There's plenty of "poor" people around you, so you won't have to look too far. And the helping is the reward.

-Be nice to your body. It's the only one you've got, and you're going to have to make it last.

-Stop taking yourself so seriously!

-Try to forgive.

-Don't be afraid of comfort food (but only once and a while). I personally believe that Taco Bell is the only known cure for existential dread.

-As the Quakers saying goes, "Don't advise people"

Ah, man, I'm gutted!

Your blog has been one that I've read since I can remember.

You (or your blog persona!) have a depth and honesty that is at the same time disarming and inspirational.

Cheers.
